We are pleased to announce that version 2.7 is available for download. In this version we added the feature to crop the selected image. Once you pick the image (either you took a new photo or you selected a photo from the album), tap on the Crop button, in the top left corner, to crop it. Next we demonstrate this for the Angle measurement
Angle Measurement
From the main screen, we tap on the Angle button, and in the next screen we tap on the No button so that we take a new photo.
We want to measure the angle on a tile, on the balcony.
Crop Image
We tap on the Crop button to enter the Crop mode.
In the Crop mode we see a rectangle with 4 pins at each corners. We can move each pin by dragging it. If we drag in empty space, we move the entire shape. We get the following result:
If we like the result, we tap on the Save button to store the cropped image. If we don’t, we tap on the Reset button to start the cropping again.
Measure Angle
Now that we have cropped the image, we tap on the image to pinpoint 3 points. Note, that the 2nd point is the vertice of the angle.
The computed angle is 84.34o. We can drag these points to better align them with the edge of the tile.
